Roberto “Il Bomber” Pruzzo – Old School Striker

Born in Genoa, Pruzzo moved to the capital in in 1979, for a record sum of 3 billions liras, and has since won a place in all of fans hearts.

Until Totti exploded in the first team, Pruzzo was the all-time top goalscorer with 106 goals. His seek dribbling and decisive finishing, combined with excellent aerial ability, made him the attacking reference for the side in the 1980’s.

He still holds the title for most games scored in a Serie A match – 5 against Avellino.

Sadly, his talent never really showed in the Squadra Azurra. He was to make 6 appearances for the Italian national team, but never scored any goals.

But lets remember him doing what he does best – scoring:
