29-year-old Brazilian wing-back, currently on loan at Brazilian club São Paulo. Known for his quick pace and pinpoint crosses, he is one of football’s new age wing-backs, who pushes up front and feels comfortable with the ball at his feet and making deep runs towards the goal line.
Started his footballing career in Brazil, where he achieved high honors after wining the World Club Cup with São Paulo. Later he moved to Real Madrid, where he did well but wasn’t loved by manager Bernd Schuster. He chose to move to Roma in 2007, where he already made 57 appearances and scored 3 goals. In February 2010 he joined São Paulo on loan, where he will play until the end of the season.
